Our new brand, Tupaïa, is named after the famed Polynesian navigator that helped guide Captain Cook’s voyages. Early Polynesians left their homes on tiny boats with expert navigators that spent years learning and memorizing the position of the stars and other natural phenomena – in order to be able to successfully guide their expeditions into the unknown, and back home. This resulted in the ancient Polynesians discovering spectacular new lands, including islands like Hawai’i.
